Collecting recipe books, or noting down recipes from TV or your mom and then putting them together in a diary is something that almost every woman is fond of, but the extent of the usability of these recipe books depends on the individual.
Since I am no different, I am also fond of collecting recipe books, writing recipes in my diary and also bookmarking them on my browser.
But which recipes I actually try out is very limited and its not always that each time the food turns out to be delicious, but over the past 3 years there is this one magic book that has not EVER disappointed me, in fact this book did bring a food revolution in my home. And this magic book is no other than our Pakistani Dalda Cook Book.
And the best part about this book is that I didn’t even buy it in fact I won it in a General Knowledge Quiz Competition that was held in Dolmen Mall Clifton.
Because I’ve earned this book, adds to the excitement but when I tried out the first recipe that was of a basic chicken pizza I couldn’t believe it myself, for the first time I baked a perfect pizza and everybody loved it.
The thing is that Dalda Cook Book provides you with accurate amount of ingredients, the no. of people it can be served to and additional tips.
You see even if you are a newbie in the world of cooking, this book is 100% recommended, because even some of the apparently complex recipes to us like Tiramisu, or Roghan Josh are written in a very simple and step by step way that won’t make you turn on and off the heat or written as such, “just when the fat is about to melt and you can see tiny bubbles pour the mixture very slowly and make sure that it doesn’t stick on the edges of the pan.”
No complexities as such, very conventional!
Also the foods that we cook everyday in our homes are provided with authentic recipes thus enhancing the flavor and adding specialty to our regular foods like Shimla Qeema.
Another awesome fact about Dalda Cook Book is that its not only Desi Food, it has Pakistani, Indian, Chinese, Continental, Middle Eastern, European and American Cuisine, along with its history, culture and food.
So if you master yourself in this book you are the unbeatable chef at home.
Also the presentation of this book is so clean and professional, the first few pages is information regarding Dalda, followed by a table of contents.
